How to Apply |
All applicants for graduate admission should submit the following to the Office of Graduate Admissions:
- complete Graduate Application for Admission
- completed typed essay
- non-refundable $50 application fee
The following must be sent from the originating source or individual to the Office of Graduate Admissions:
- The completed Graduate Application for Admission. Include your signature and the date.
- Your completed typed essay. Please be sure to respond to the essay question that corresponds with the program that you are applying to.
- An application fee of $50. This fee is not refundable and is not credited on any subsequent bill. Checks or money oreders should be made payable to Adelphi University. Adelphi alumni are not required to pay this fee.
- Standardized test scores. It is the applicant's reponsibility to request that certifies copies of the test score reports be forwarded directly to te Office of University Admissions. The standardized tests recognized for admission to graduate study are the GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) and the GRE (Graduate Record Exam). Arrangements to take the GMAT or GRE should be made directly with the Educational Testing Service, Box 955, Princeton, NJ 08540. The Educational Testing Service code for Adelphi University is 2003. Refer to the Application Requirements Table for required standardized test scores.
- Official degree-noted transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended.
- Letters of Reference. Refer to the Application Requirements Table and the Applicant's Letter of Reference on the Graduate Application.
Applicants must check with the specific school, program or department for additional admission requirements.
