Nondegree Students |
Students who wish to undertake graduate study but who do not intend to become candidates for a higher degree are classified as non-degree students. They include students who:
- enroll to meet state certification requirements for teachers
- take selected courses to earn credits
- enroll as students over the summer.
Non-degree students are permitted to enroll only in specifically designated courses. They are limited to a maximum of 12 credits in courses applicable to a graduate degree. Waiver of these restrictions requires the appropriate dean's approval.
Students must complete an application and present evidence of a baccalaureate degree. Some certificate and professional programs may have additional admission requirements.
