Adult Academic Programs in University College classes are held at the main Garden City campus, which is centrally located and easily accessible from all major Long Island roadways, as well as at off-campus centers in Hauppauge and Manhattan.

Scheduling is tailored to fit your busy life, with options including:

  • Fall and spring semesters, as well as two summer session terms
  • Classes that meet once a week for fifteen weeks—offered evenings and weekends
  • Classes that meet two evenings a week, for seven weeks during the summer semester
  • Five accelerated weekend semesters—classes that meet seven consecutive Saturdays or Sundays.


Prior learning credits
We recognize that adult students can acquire the equivalent of college-level knowledge outside the college classroom. The Adult Academic Programs in University College offer you the opportunity to earn college credit for life experience, including work and volunteer experience, artistic expression, and military training.


Academic Scholarships
Adelphi University transfer scholarships are available to students based upon academic success attained at prior universities. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $3,500 per academic year.
