Admissions Unveiled blogger Craig Fox '09 begins his campus tour in the lobby of Levermore Hall, where the Office of Admissions is located.

Mr. Fox pauses in front of the Ruth S. Harley University Center, the cultural and social hub of the Garden City campus, to address prospective students and their families before heading inside.

In the University Center cafeteria, Mr. Fox shows prospective students the many dining options available on campus, from vegan fare and Italian dishes to juicy hamburgers.

Mr. Fox walks his tour group around the exterior of the new Performing Arts Center (AU PAC). Along with the Center for Recreation and Sports, AU PAC marks a new era in Adelphi’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

The group circles the track inside the newly built Center for Recreation and Sports, a 76,000 square-foot edifice featuring a three-story, three-court gymnasium, which can be converted to a 2,200-seat arena for large competitions and events, accommodating recreational and intercollegiate athletes, as well as health and physical education students.

Mr. Fox leads prospective students through the newly expanded parking lots, including an underground parking garage, which ensure that all students, faculty, and staff have easy access to campus facilities.

It's a crisp fall day on the Adelphi campus, and all the colors of the foliage are in full bloom.

Mr. Fox shows the group Swirbul Library, Adelphi's main library and an invaluable resource for students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The library offers an extensive range of books and other materials and services to support academic studies and enhance research.

Mr. Fox introduces his tour group to the main computer area of Swirbul Library, where students have access to both Mac and PC computers for writing papers, emailing friends, or just surfing the net.

Towards the end of their tour, prospective Adelphi students stroll through the campus and survey all that it has to offer.

At the close of his tour, Mr. Fox returns the group to the lobby of Levermore Hall to answer any additional questions and bid the visitors adieu. For some prospective students, this won’t be their last visit to Adelphi.
