Student Life
Students at Adelphi have a world of opportunities right outside their doorsteps, whether on the lush Garden City campus or in the sprawling metropolis of Manhattan. Students can choose from more than 80 clubs and organizations. Academic clubs, such as the Adelphi Ballroom Club, Student Art League, and Student History Society, open students' minds outside the classroom. Campus media organizations, including the Delphian, the student-led newspaper, and Works in Progress give aspiring journalists and film directors exposure to their future careers.
Greek life, community service organizations, and social action clubs, including Amnesty International and Global Impact, as well as cultural organizations, such as the Hellenic Society and Le Circle Francais, expand students' social interests and activities. With numerous study abroad opportunities and internships, our designation as a United Nations' non-governmental agency, and our unique Levermore Global Scholars Program, which emphasizes international learning as a crucial facet of an undergraduate education, Adelphi students are informed citizens of the world.
