Veterans Resource Center

At Adelphi, we are honored to help the military community shape their futures by pursuing a degree. Our goal is to offer all the resources necessary for our veteran and active military students to achieve their collegiate goals. The Veteran Resource Center is here to do just that, by assisting Adelphi’s veterans, active duty military students and related community.

Current veteran students can learn more about local service agencies or meet with Adelphi staff who provide veteran-specific support.

Our veteran resource offices at Adelphi include the Center for Career DevelopmentOne-Stop Student Services and Swirbul Library, which also provide veteran-specific sessions in the Veteran Resource Center throughout the semester. Additionally, a veteran liaison from the Mental Health Association of Nassau County’s Veterans Health Alliance of Long Island visits twice a month to provide outreach and support to Adelphi veteran students. We welcome veteran students from every branch of the military to take full advantage of these resources.

The Veteran Resource Center is located in Levermore Hall, room 303A. Veteran events and resource information are posted outside this office on a regular basis.

War Veterans with Disabilities

Adelphi University recognizes the sacrifice our soldiers make and strives to raise awareness and solicit the public’s aid for the needs of service men, women and their families. There are several benefit programs as well as counseling that are available to help meet the needs of these honorable men and women. Below we have included this information and resources for our returning soldiers who wish to pursue these services and further their academic career.
