Our Events Team will contact you within the next week to discuss scheduling a visit.

Group tours are typically for students and their school/organization chaperones. We also coordinate group tours for school counselors.

Please contact the Events staff if parents are interested in attending.

We are offering virtual and in-person group visits. If you are participating in a virtual group visit, there are no restrictions on the maximum number of students that can participate. If you have requested an in-person group visit, the capacity is a maximum of 50 students and up to 4 chaperones. We still ask that you provide at least one adult chaperone for every fifteen students for both in-person and virtual visits.

Our policy is that groups must be accompanied by at least one adult chaperone per fifteen students if possible. All chaperones must remain with the group at all times, including the entire campus tour.

Both in-person and virtual group visits include a personalized welcome, an information session and a campus tour. You can also opt to have lunch on campus if your visit is in-person.

The presentation is an overview of information about Adelphi University. It encompasses academics, student life, athletics and more. We can customize presentations upon request.

The in-person campus tour involves one of our student ambassadors providing a tour of our Garden City Campus. The virtual campus tour is a live 360-view tour of our beautiful 75 acre campus. Tour times range from 45 – 60 minutes and will show campus life, academia, and potentially a residence hall.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Adelphi University require that all events be accessible. To request a reasonable accommodation, please contact infoevents@adelphi.edu; please allow for a reasonable time frame. University Admissions will, when necessary, collaborate with the Student Access Office.

Please log on to the meeting within 15 minutes of your scheduled visit. If your group is more than 15 minutes late for your first activity, we reserve the right to make necessary changes to your itinerary as our students and staff have additional obligations during the day.

In-person group visits are available for all school groups/organizations. Please be sure to arrive on campus to the designated meeting location within 15 minutes of your scheduled visit. If your group is more than 15 minutes late for your first activity, we reserve the right to make necessary changes to your itinerary as our students and staff have additional obligations during the day.

We would like to accommodate as many group visits as possible. Please let us know ASAP if you need to cancel and reschedule your visit. We will do our best to reschedule your visit upon your request. You can call us at 516.877.3690 or email us at groupvisit@adelphi.edu to cancel your visit.

If your visit is in-person you can walk to the bookstore/gift shop located in the University Center after your visit. If your visit is virtual and you would like to purchase Adelphi merchandise, please visit our online bookstore.

Moving forward, we will be offering virtual and in-person group visits.

Yes, we are now offering the option to purchase lunch on campus for group visits depending on the size of the group. If the group is too large to have lunch in one of our cafeterias or dining halls, lunch can be ordered through our catering office. You can also bring your own lunch to eat on campus.
